Spoken Word Poet Ray Lucas delivers at Chromatic Audio. Winner of October’s “The One” talent showcase Raymond King Lucas, a very talented poet, recorded 3 pieces at our studio as his reward. His preparedness was incredible. He had everything memorized and his flow was absolutely thought out and delivered with wonderful intention. With him was his beautiful and happy 1-year old daughter that he juggled with ease, never losing his place or patience.

He came in with a simple yet powerful vision for the videos. A single beam of light, befitting his name, shone on his face in the darkness all around. The darkness took some fast green screen work. I needed a completely black background to provide this. Luckily, we can think fast and make things happen. After a half hour setup time, Ray went in! Fully committed, he delivered an amazing performance with his insanely dynamic booming voice. He’s truly a special guy with vision and an obvious talent for crafting powerful moments together.
