Something close to source – Sam Arjes releases new song “Summer Girl”

Once in a while, you get to work on a song that will be remembered and treasured for generations. I have recently been so lucky! As a super dad and songwriter, longtime collaborator Sam Arjes reached out to me for production work on a song for his little girl. In the pop world where everyone is trying to create the most fire beats to get lit to, this was a nice break. Something a little closer to source. Not an escape, but a cozy corner of love and belonging. More eternal and resembling one of humanity’s greatest feature, the parental adoration of their child. Even Sam’s wife got in some vocals to add to the emotion. If god willing we have the courage to “let out little light shine” it can’t hurt to know that your parents have been there letting you know how bright you are inside. “Summer Girl” by Sam Arjes is out everywhere.
