MY BROTHERS & SISTERS @ The Rino W/ Vibralux
MB&S and Vibralux was a great pairing. Two very different bands that had a similar love of subversive artistry. Truly it was a wonderfully weird match. Mercury Madzuko has been around and he deserves a ton of respect for going far out like he does especially in the Mid-West. His commitment to his art and vision is really wonderful to see. They had banners, lights and costumes. Also, some difficult soloistic passages and an eclectic mix of grooves that was great to witness. MB&S killed it with a short aggressive set that ended with their re-imagination of Rage Against the Machine’s “Killing In The Name Of.” That tune always gets the crowd into a wonderful frenzy. The Rino couldn’t have had a nicer staff as well.
